FRENCH FARM LODGE: The Art Of Architectural Salvage
This small ranch home in the Midwest was originally purchased in 1960 on a 1/2 acre lot. As the owners family grew so too did the home -expanding to 3 times the size. The home was designed as both an homage to the farms that once occupied the area ad the owner's French heritage. Architectural artifacts were collected and repurposed as part of the build process - vintage doors, knobs and hardware, antique dressers converted to sink vanities, Victorian stained glass windows, antique books and old farming equipment created this unique estate property.
